Trying out the Asakusa Bunko Leather ID Case!
Hey there! Today, I'm excited to share my experience using the Bunko Leather ID Case, crafted by a former kimono manufacturer in Japan.
I opted for the "pink" color variant, featuring a vibrant pattern with shades of yellow, green, and blue. Initially, I imagined bunko leather to be stark white, but I was pleasantly surprised by its soft ivory hue.
Personally, I love the embossed pattern on the leather, reminiscent of lace, which feels delightful to touch with my fingertips.
Use at the office building: Conclusion... Feeling good ⤴
At the office, I wore the ID Case around my neck, with my employee card visible on one side and a bill tucked into the hidden compartment.
This made it convenient during short breaks for restroom or lunch, allowing me to move around without carrying a bag. Plus, the stylish design uplifts my mood, which is really important during work!
Use when outing with kids: Conclusion... So convenient!!
On days off, I swapped my employee card for a credit card in the ID case, removed the strap, and hooked it onto my belt before heading to the park with my kids. I found it very convenient due to its lightweight and nice appearance.
The loop on the case's body is sturdy, and due to leather friction, it will not easily drop, making me feel really secure.
The attached image shows the version hooked onto a smartphone pouch. I got too engrossed with my kids to take a picture of the version hooked onto my belt.
OMG... Matching Wallet Found!
While browsing through the You.en product lineup, I stumbled upon a wallet with the same design as the ID case!
I'm tempted to get it... If I hadn't just replaced my wallet, I might have bought it.
Conclusion:
In this review, I introduced the "Asakusa Bunko" ID case.
Personally, I believe the essence of leather products lies in the "wear and tear" and "dirt" that develop over time, turning them into "my leather goods." So, I'm excited to see how this soft white base and vibrant pattern will evolve. However, it's unfortunate that I can't keep an eye on it for long, as it was only loaned for this review!
